• What prompted you to begin writing?
• What were your intentions for these books?

1. Q. What prompted you to begin writing?
A. I was inspired to start writing by my English teacher in primary school in Nairobi, Kenya. This was in standard 8, which is like 8th grade in the United States. Whenever we wrote English compositions in class, she always told me that mine was the best and would hang it on the bulletin board for the rest of the class to read.
B. I was even more determined to write when I got to the University of Nairobi and started speaking to students in my country. I discovered that I could reach many more people by writing.
2a. Q. What were your intentions for writing The Road to Arrival?
A. My intentions for writing the book “The Road to Arrival “ is to empower people with principles than can guide them towards realizing their dreams.
B. It was also written to enable people connect with the potential within them which unleashes feelings of success and significance.
2b. Q. What were your intentions for Quest for Light?
A. My intentions for writing the book “Quest for Light “ is inspire people to develop a love for the knowledge and understanding of eternal principles and wisdom.
B. This book was also written to affirm the value of the Word of God.
2c. Q. What were your intentions for writing “Battling for Your Prophetic Destiny”?
A. My intentions for writing the book “Battling for Your Prophetic Destiny “ is to challenge people to pursue their true calling and do all it takes to realize their highest potential.
B. It was also written as a companion book for my first book, The Road to Arrival.
3. Q. What kind of obstacles did you encounter while working on your books?
A. My main obstacle while writing this book was finding an agent and a publisher. After my books were completed I searched long and hard for market penetration but it never came through. I ended up self-publishing my books.
B. Another obstacle that I encountered while writing my book was time. I was at the university and had a lot of school work to do at the same time.
4. Q. What do you think that the reader will gain from reading your books?
A. The answer to this question will vary depending upon the reader
and their perspective of the contents in the book.
1. My books will enable many readers to develop concrete visions and cultivate personal dreams for their own lives.
2. My books will strengthen those who have faith and enable them to understand that success is a journey, not a destination.
3. My books will help people become passionate in their pursuit of destiny, balanced in every area of their lives and empowered with life-transforming ideas that will impact their lives positively.
5. Q. Do you pursue writing as more of an interest or a career?
A. Neither. Writing for me is a lifestyle. It has become a part of me and I cannot shake it off as an interest or hold onto it as a career. It’s just a part of who I am.
6. Q. What advice would you give someone who is just beginning a writing career?
A. My advice to someone who is just beginning a writing career is to:
• read, read, read and re-read your reading
• write, write, write and re-write your writing
• find avenues through which you can speak about your writing
7. Q. What are your future plans?
A. My future plan as a writer is to keep writing and venture into publishing.
